This was a 6 week stay while getting medical treatment. Perfect location near Sibley Hospital,in safe pleasant neighborhood, within walking dis stance from good restaurants and 50 meters from bustop. Manager, Charlotte was very personable and helpful. The unit was perfectly described.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The rental was clean, comfortable and easy to use. The host was great - left his number and helped with a blown fuse right away - also LUXbnb were lovely and incredibly helpful. Have recommended to a friend. Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at this property while visiting our daughter who is a junior at American University. It was only steps to Chef Geoff’s Café, Wagshull’s Deli and our daughter’s apartment at Avalon at Foxhall. We were able to have eggs and toast in the mornings by using the hot plate and toaster oven provided. The living area has a large screen TV, comfy couches and an easy-to-use gas fireplace for cozy Netflix evenings after a long day of touring. :-) Our guest services contact, Charlotte, was very helpful and responsive in answering some questions we had about the fireplace. Having a dedicated parking spot in the driveway right outside our door was huge since we had a rental car. We highly recommend this home and hope to return in the near future!

I stay here whenever I am in DC and always cross my fingers hoping it’ll be available. Charming one-bedroom apartment on ground floor of house. Terrific location, off-street parking, spacious living room, even a washer and dryer. It’s quite perfect, actually!

We were forced to look at temporary housing after being forced out of our home for some emergency repairs.
Found this LUXbnb property and with the assistance of first Lilanie and later Aaron enjoyed our stay at this property which is in a wonderful location and neighborhood.
The rental property is in excellent condition and well maintained. Being pet friendly and having a parking space available were also very important to us. We also had in-unit AC and laundry, which were very useful. However, don’t expect a kitchen where you can cook a full meal, and the small fridge is somewhat awkwardly located.

This lovely, elegant apartment is exactly what I needed for my stay. Everything about it worked for me: the lovely neighborhood, the welcoming fruit bowl, the comfortable bed, the clean and modern design. It was all I could have hoped for.

Occasionally there’s a bit of “clomping around” from the upstairs unit, but it doesn’t last long.

I can’t recommend this guest house highly enough. It’s perfect: spacious, immaculate, nicely decorated — and has an off-street parking spot, a very valuable commodity in Washington. Great location, minutes from shops, restaurants, and a short drive from downtown. I hope to stay there again in the spring.

Nicely appointed place. Location was convenient to where we had to be. You should be aware that this is the basement to a house separated by a door. So if you're looking for a condo or townhouse, this isn't it.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Loved all the coffee and creamer and fruit available to us after a long day, we did not feel like stopping, so had breakfast all ready in morning, thank you! We got all kinds of channels on the t.v. It was really quaint and quiet, except for the occasional upstairs walking around! Comfy bed, great shower, nice walking neighborhood! 5 star in our book!

Nice rental. Terrible bed. Could not get a good night’s sleep. Would not return unless bed was replaced. Also found a roach and jumping spiders in the sitting room. Ugh!

We loved our stay in this quiet, leafy neighborhood. There are restaurants and shops conveniently nearby. The apartment was very clean and well-appointed. The manager was quite helpful. We would stay here again.

Thank you for this wonderful place to stay while visiting DC. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and a clean apartment. The fridge had water bottles and the fixings for fresh coffee and tea were available. Thanks again for a great place to stay
