About
Renovated 2-level historic Georgetown building full of charm, historic details, and exposed brick walls. Enter through this home's red front door into a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and dining seating for four. In this same open level you will find a very cool telescoping table that can be used as a standing desk for those working from home, or a kitchen island. The washer/dryer is also on this level.
Upstairs, historic details include exposed brick and beams and 100-year-old oxidized glass in the windows. The sitting area at the top of the stairs features a loveseat, new modern tables and 2 armchairs, a large smart TV, and a window facing alcove with a desk and chair. The bedrooms are on either side of the sitting area, they each have a queen bed, dresser, window(s), towel rack and closet . The bathroom, with shower, is off the sitting room.
Access the enclosed back garden and your patio with seating through the gate at the top of the driveway. While you have your own tree-shaded patio with seating at the top of the garden, the yard and gas grill are shared with the home on the corner. (They have their own patio.)
An optional on-site parking space is offered for $225/mo.

My family of 4 stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the walkability throughout Georgetown and we were still close to other attractions. Exploring the restaurants along M Ave was a treat!!

A gem of a little house with plenty of room for us all to relax in the house or garden. Wonderful location - easy access to Georgetown and Foggy Bottom, shopping, restaurants, attractions. Will definitely plan on returning.
Not what we expected....

We were very disappointed with this property which lacked even the most basic amenities like any hooks to hang towels in the bathroom, to not being able to open any windows (some marked Do Not Open and others not marked) and a dilated dresser in one of the bedrooms lined with Trader Joe's bags and cardboard. The other bedroom did not have a dresser. There were also a few lamps that did not work and the banister was very shaky.

Great location. I loved walking my dog through Dumbarton Oaks park every morning. Shops and restaurants are just blocks away from the vacation rental.

Four college girls lived in this gem of a spot for four months. They loved every minute of it! The location is superb. The house was clean, nicely updated, cozy and walking distance to many attractions in Georgetown. I would definitely rent it again. The girls were very sad that their stay was over. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
